Record Store Day UK has announced a new partnership with BBC Music.
The deal includes "special programming" across BBC Radio, as well as pre-event coverage from Steve Lamacq, who will speak to different record stores across the country to find out what they've got planned for The Big Day.
BBC 6 Music will also be exclusively unveiling this year's product list.
The ninth annual Record Store Day takes place on 16 April, with an estimated 25,000 music fans set to visit participating shops.
James Stirling, BBC Music Editor, says of the new collaboration: “BBC Music is always keen to support moments that unite people through their love of music. Record Store Day does exactly that and we are very happy to be officially involved this year."
